All the President’s men

First of all, I apologies for not able to type in Chinese silpmy I have not learned to type Chinese yet. I just want to add that it is a real shame of the HKSAR to have Mr Leung as a leader. Feeling very helpless and I do know most of the people in Hong Kong share the same feeling as mine. Shame on HKSAR, shame on 梁振英 and his entire team. China Government should look for a Plan B sooner rather than later. This may cause some embassement to the China Government, however it save their face in the long run. Think again!

Yet Paul was not afraid to call out those who misrepresented him and his ministry: see I Cor. ch. 1:12-24; ch. 7; and ch. 11. The problem with our society – and often our churches – is not a failure of civility across the board. Civility, and the corresponding disposition to work with others – is alive and well. People tend to be polite to those they like (even the rude are polite to their friends); many within that group are civil to everyone. Ultimately real civility is premised on the disposition to work with others in good faith and good will. That makes it a character issue, and breakdown of character is not one that is unique to any particular time. That makes the real problem that is incivility one of when a minority of people simply want what they want and care not upon whom they step to get it. They will say, and often do, anything about anybody they believe is in their way. Many folks had a problem with either Paul or his ministry or both, and they were quite prepared to damage the presentation of the gospel – and the young fragile faith of those who had first heard the gospel from Paul – to get their way. Paul stood up to them, and there was nothing uncivil about it. Civility does not require giving way to bullies, and that is precisely the problem with Brooks' diagnosis. He would paint everyone with a large tar brush, many of whom don't merit it, while letting the worst offenders escape identification, all of whom don't deserve it. buy car insurance online cialis online

A guy with a beef about being passed over for promotion decided to leak all over Woodward, who at the time was a Republican. He made Woodward. And ever since, he’s been granted major cred though 90% of his stuff sounds like GOP talking points with just enough inside stuff tossed in to maintain the aura that sets him a tad above a typical hack Republican reporter.I could be wrong, but that’s been my opinion for many years. Bernstein gets less space but I’ve always liked his reporting better. So yeah, I think more transparency is a way that all MSM reporters can demonstrate greater cred, though it’s ultimately a private judgment call.If many reporters started displaying their financial statements, it would put pressure on all to volunteer the same. I think it’s a great idea.(And btw, I never knew you were blogging, Murray. I can’t believe I’ve been bypassing your work all this time while looking for your MSM articles at WaPo, etc.) cheap car insurance nj car insurance

For those who think Woodward’s ethics violation are no big deal, consider what Bob Woodward himself writes in the “Questions and Answers” part of his personal website (” I agree that it is the responsibility of the media in a democracy to inform the public about what their elected officials are doing and how they are handling their responsibilities, but it is equally important for non-political figures to be held accountable for what they do. Business and community leaders of all kinds can greatly affect the world, and it is the responsibility of the media to ensure that both positive and negative aspects of business and government are made public. It is equally important that the public demands thorough, honest reporting from the media.”In other words, ethics rules apply to everyone…except if you’re Bob Woodward.Just because Woodward achieved great things long ago, it doesn’t excuse him from hypocrisy today. new york car insurance car insureance
